ReplyDeleteLegally they can build the mosque, but I don't think it's right. I think it would be disrespectful to everyone who died as a result of 9/11 and it would anger many people.
ReplyDeleteI think its the dumbest thing i have ever heard. The islamic people attacked and killed tons of american people and now they want to build a worship place where they attacked us.
ReplyDeleteThis is not right, By doing this they are dishonoring those who die. The other issues that need to be considered is why do they need to build it in that place and how will people feel about the situation.
ReplyDeleteThey are the ones that blew it down they should make us one for the madness they made happen, all the deaths, and war
ReplyDeleteI don't think it is very respectful for them to build the mosque. They should respect the people that died.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a bad idea because it would anger a lot of people because they killed many americans.
ReplyDeleteNate has a good point. Why do they have to build it in that location. Why can't they build it somewhere else away from ground zero?
ReplyDeleteThis idea is bad because many people would be very upset. It would just hurt more people. I think this is very disrespectful for the families and the people that died.
ReplyDeleteJR, they should make us a what?
ReplyDeleteI agree with cheyenne. I think they need to have more respect for all the families that lost someone.
ReplyDeleteGood point brando. After they attacked us they shouldnt be allowed to do this
ReplyDeleteI think that they should be able to build the mosque
ReplyDeleteI think this is a bad idea because it is not appropriate to build anything near ground zero. That should be a memorial place just as it is. I don't think it is going against freedom of religion just build it somewhere else than next to ground zero.
ReplyDeleteheard that nate. They need to find a different location, like their home country
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I believe that it is their right to be able to stay true and honor their religion and we do live in American, which supports its claim to freedom. They have just as much right as anyone else to build a mosque, but personally I don't believe that it is right to build it there. It is an act of disrespect to our country itself, as well as all of the innocent Americans that died. I don't think they should do this because it would just cause a bigger commotion and outrage many Americans.
ReplyDelete- Tara Lynn & Ashlyn :)
I do agree that everyone would be upset if they built that. It's just not right. they can build it someone else in the town away from ground zero.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kacie because she said that they could build a mosque somewhere else in NYC. Why do they need to build it by ground zero?
ReplyDeleteThe islamics in US are also Americans
ReplyDeletethats stupid. that will cost way to much for what there building
ReplyDeletethey are just asking for trouble anyway by putting it there. They want the attention
ReplyDeleteagree with jill. they dont need to build something like that at ground zero.
ReplyDeleteLegally they have to right to build it anywhere, but i think it's disrespectful. It seems like we don't care about the people that lost their lives that day. We need to make sure we show that we do care. I think there's plenty of other places they could build it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jacob they're just asking for trouble and attention by building it there.
ReplyDeleteif they do build it, people will mess with it and trash it anyways.
ReplyDeleteI dont think that it is right if they do this...I mean it kinda is not the best considering what happened there.
ReplyDeleteAnd i agree with KayLynn that they technically have the right to build anywhere, but it is disrespectful.
