This 10th grader Casey hanes was bullied for years and he finally snapped. He picked up the kid that was bullying him and threw him to the ground. I think that he did what he did in self defense.

Japans reactors are going to take longer to repair than expected. There was more damage than thought.
Taylor Anderson, who was an american teaching in Japan, was found dead in Japan at age 24. She rode home on her bike when the earthquake hit, she was dedicated to her job.
I think Casey Heynes was standing up for himself and said he had enough of being bullied.

An American fighter jet crashed in Libya's, both crew ejecting safely as the aircraft spun from the sky on the third night of the U.S. air campaign. Gadhafi's forces shelled rebels that were in the dunes on Tuesday.

Kayla- I agree that Casey Heynes was using self defense. After being bullied by that many years, he snapped. He shouldn't have seriously hurt the kid who bullied him. He should've talked to someone first, but we was just standing up for himself.

I understand why the boy had enough and decided to do something to finally stand up for himself, but throwing him on the ground like that could've seriously injured or killed the other boy and he would've been responsible for that. I think he shouldn't have used so much force.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if we should be in Libya or not because I'm not sure of the government's motives. I understand that the country is having problems but our country's motives aren't clear and we have a lot of other things to deal with so I don't know if they really need us to get involved when there's other countries helping out already.

He also said that the minister has physically abused his wife and kids. No, I don't think that we should have started this and I think that we are there for the oil.
I think that Casey Haynes was just pushed to his limit because he was tired of being bothered. The other boy should have let him be and he deserved it because he started it.
Casey Heynes through a boy on cement. The boy had swung at him and then Casey swung him around and slammed him on the cement. He had been bullied for years and just snapped, I think it was self defense, I wouldn't take being hit in the face.

I dont know about the Libya situation or why the US is in it, but I think we should have left them alone.

I think we should go to Libya because the people there need our help. We also need their oil, so that's a good reason to go over.
I think that Casey Heynes had a right to do that to the kid because the kid was punching him and he had enough of bullying. It will teach that kid never to bully him again.
Melanie- I agree because Casey could have seriously injured the boy that he was hurting even though the boy was asking for it.

-We have the right to be in there. We are doing this to help the citizens. They wanted us to come help so we are and if we get oil in return good deal. This will probly last along time tell we get what we want.

ReplyDelete2. I agree with Travis, we shouldn't have attacked Libia. We are already involved with too much. I also agree with Jordan, the kid had the right to defend himself.
3. We have the right, but I think it's dumb that we are over there. We are just spending money that we don't have. Who knows how long we will have troops over there now.

ReplyDelete15-year-old Christopher Endicott and 12-year-old Kyra Shockely who were subjects of an amber alert were found. The amber alert was issued after their parents were found dead in their home and the kids missing.
I think that its ok that we are attacking Lybia. Some compare the Cadafi's actions to the Holocaust. I think that it is definitely reasonable to fight to prevent another genocide.
I think that Casey the Punisher's action were totally justified. He was being punched repeatedly and the kid got what he deserved. He should stick up for himself.

I can't believe that a child would bring something like that to school and give it out.
